Hidayatur Rehman Assures Gwadar Hospital Security Guards of Salary Release

MPA contacts hospital administration over unpaid salaries, pledges to resolve issues; reviews patient care and medical facilities at Indus Hospital

GWADAR: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Balochistan chief  and Member of the Provincial Assembly Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch has assured protesting security guards at Indus Hospital Gwadar that efforts would be made to remove hurdles in the release of their unpaid salaries and ensure payment of their outstanding dues.

During a visit to the hospital, he inspected various wards and met patients receiving treatment and their families to inquire about their well-being. On the occasion, he sought information about the medical facilities available to patients and the difficulties they were facing. Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch also met security guards who were protesting against the non-payment of their salaries and listened to their concerns.

In this regard, he contacted the hospital’s HOC and assured the protesting employees that efforts would be made to resolve the obstacles hindering the release of their salaries and ensure payment of their outstanding dues.

The MPA emphasised that the effective provision of public healthcare services required timely access to quality medical treatment for patients. He also stressed that the legitimate concerns of hospital employees should be addressed on a priority basis to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of medical services and enable the public to receive better healthcare facilities. Haq Do Tehreek Balochistan District Chairman Akram Fida and General Secretary Babar Shahzad also accompanied him during the visit.
