Repeated Adjournments in Al-Qadir Trust Case Very Concerning: PTI

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) voices serious concern and disappointment over the repeated adjournments in the Al-Qadir Trust case involving former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, which was scheduled to be held at the Islamabad High Court on Monday but was adjourned allegedly due to Chief Justice IHC Sarfaraz Dogar’s official engagements.

In a statement issued by PTI Central Media Department on Monday, PTI raised a fundamental question: how long will justice continue to be deferred? Repeated postponements run contrary to the core principles of timely justice and risk eroding public confidence in the legal system.

PTI called upon the judiciary to ensure an immediate, transparent, and uninterrupted hearing of this important case so that justice is not only done, but is seen to be done.

At the same time, the party stated that the present government’s incompetence and flawed policies have made life increasingly difficult for ordinary citizens. PTI noted that inflation has surged to unprecedented levels, essential commodities have moved beyond the reach of the common person, and the ruling elite appears detached from the public’s hardships.

The government, PTI asserted, has failed to provide meaningful relief and is attempting to deflect attention from its shortcomings through politically motivated cases and reprisals.

PTI reiterated its unwavering commitment to the struggle for the rights of the people, stating that the nation is watching and fully understands the reality on the ground. “God willing, the public will soon hold this inept government accountable through the power of the people,” the party affirmed.
