PTI Strongly Condemns Islamabad Imambargah Suicide Bombing, Appeal for Unity to Defeat Terrorism

Sheikh Waqas Urges PTI Workers to Donate Blood for Terror Attack Victims

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) condemned in the strongest possible terms the horrific suicide bombing at Khadijat-ul-Kubra Imambargah in the Tarlai area of Islamabad, which left more than a dozen innocent worshippers martyred and dozens of others injured.

In a statement issued on Friday by the PTI Central Media Department, PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram expressed deep grief and sorrow over the blast, extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, and prayed for strength and patience for the bereaved.

The party prays for the eternal peace, forgiveness, and highest ranks in Jannah for the martyrs, and for’ the swift and full recovery of the injured. PTI CIS also urges the concerned authorities to ensure the immediate provision of the best possible medical care to all those wounded.

Sheikh Waqas Akram called on all PTI workers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to immediately visit PIMS Hospital, Polyclinic Hospital, and CDA Hospital in Islamabad to donate blood, which is urgently needed for the injured victims of the recent terrorist attack.

“In this hour of crisis, our brothers and sisters affected by this act of terrorism need our support. It is our moral and religious duty to help those in need,” he said. PTI’s Central Information Secretary urged everyone to step forward and donate blood generously to help save lives.

Sheikh Waqas stated that targeting a place of worship is an act of extreme brutality and a crime against humanity. “Such barbaric violence exposes the savagery of terrorists and their sinister agenda to sabotage peace, harmony, and stability in Pakistan,” he added.

PTI CIS made it clear that PTI unequivocally condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and demands that the perpetrators of this heinous crime—along with their facilitators and masterminds—be swiftly identified and brought to justice without delay.

He emphasized that terrorism remains a grave threat to the nation and that its complete eradication requires unity and collective resolve. The entire nation must stand together to defeat this menace and safeguard peace, tolerance, and stability across Pakistan, PTI CIS concluded.
