Mother of PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan Passes Away

ISLAMABAD: The mother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan passed away, who had been unwell for some time.

Barrister Gohar Khan shared the sad news in a post on social media platform X, stating: “It is with great sadness that we inform you that our most respected, compassionate and beloved mother has passed away.” He appealed to people to pray that Allah Almighty grant his mother a high position in Paradise.

The funeral prayer for the deceased will be offered on Saturday (today) at 4:00 pm in village Dagar, Buner district, according to the family.

In a statement issued by PTI Central Media Department expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Barrister Gohar Khan’s mother. In its condolence statement, the PTI leadership said that the death of a mother is an irreparable loss and that the entire party leadership, parliamentarians, office-bearers and workers stand with Barrister Gohar Khan and his bereaved family in this hour of immense grief.

The party said that Allah Almighty has appointed a time of return for every living being and that death is an inevitable reality. It expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Barrister Gohar Khan and all members of his family, praying that Allah Almighty grant them patience, strength and courage to bear this profound loss.

PTI leadership further prayed that Allah Almighty grant the departed soul complete forgiveness, bless her with the highest position in His mercy, illuminate her grave with divine light, elevate her ranks in the Hereafter and grant her an eternal place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Barrister Gohar Khan’s mother and extended his heartfelt condolences to PTI chairman and his family.

Prime Minister prayed that Allah Almighty grant eternal peace and mercy to the deceased and give Gohar Khan and other members of the bereaved family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. Shahbaz said that he stood with PTI chairman and his relatives in their hour of grief and extended his heartfelt sympathies and prayers.

Separately, people from all walks of life, including political leaders and other public figures, expressed their heartfelt condolences over the demise of Gohar Khan’s mother. They prayed for the departed soul and for Allah Almighty to grant Barrister Gohar Khan and the bereaved family patience and fortitude to endure this great loss.
