Mandokhail to highlight AI, digital technology, entrepreneurship and equal opportunities for Balochistan’s youth at global forum in New York
Staff Report
QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhail will represent the youth of Pakistan and Balochistan at the Youth and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit being organized by the United Nations in New York on August 12, where delegates from more than 186 countries are expected to participate in discussions on the future of young people in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Mandokhail is set to highlight the potential of artificial intelligence, digital technology, robotics, entrepreneurship and online business in empowering young people, particularly those from less-developed regions, and creating pathways for them to participate meaningfully in global economic and technological progress.
During the summit, the governor will stress the need to equip youth with a modern scientific outlook, strengthen entrepreneurial skills, develop regional capabilities and ensure access to practical opportunities that enable young people to thrive in a rapidly changing technological environment. He is also expected to emphasize the importance of narrowing the digital and developmental divide so that Balochistan’s geographical and socioeconomic challenges do not prevent its youth from benefiting from emerging technologies and global opportunities.
Mandokhail will further address Pakistanis at a ceremony in Dallas, Texas, on August 14 to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day, highlighting the country’s national aspirations and the contribution of its youth to a progressive and technologically advanced future.
