Balochistan Assembly Adopts Unanimous Resolution Praising Armed Forces in ‘Marka-e-Haq’

QUETTA: A joint congratulatory resolution was unanimously passed in the Balochistan Assembly to pay tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their success in the “Battle of Truth” (Marka-e-Haq). The resolution was presented in the House by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and was supported by both government and opposition members.

The session was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai. During the proceedings, Chief Minister Bugti, on behalf of the House, paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s Army, Navy, and Air Force for safeguarding national security and foiling hostile designs.

The resolution stated that the House salutes the bravery of the armed forces for their “magnificent success” in the Battle of Truth, defending the homeland and delivering a strong response to the enemy’s aggression. It added that Pakistan Air Force successfully neutralized enemy assets, while multiple hostile positions were destroyed, leading to a breakdown of the adversary’s defensive capability.

Lawmakers described the operation as a historic turning point that strengthened Pakistan’s strategic posture and reaffirmed its defense doctrine. The resolution asserted that Pakistan has made it clear that any aggression or adventurism will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

It further highlighted that the professionalism, preparedness, and operational capability demonstrated by the armed forces reflect Pakistan’s full readiness to counter any threat.

The House reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving country but would make any sacrifice necessary for the protection of its sovereignty, security, and national dignity. It also lauded the leadership of Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their timely decisions and guidance during the situation.

Members from both sides of the aisle endorsed the resolution, stating that the armed forces and the nation stand united. They said Pakistan responded firmly to aggression, earning national pride and strengthening its global standing. The Assembly unanimously approved the resolution, reaffirming full solidarity with the armed forces for the defense, stability, and progress of the country.
