Saudi Arabia Releases Rs 144.5M Grant for IIUI Employees’ Relief Allowance

ISLAMABAD: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has released Rs144.50 million as part of its annual grant to the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), supporting the Ad Hoc Relief Allowance 2026-27 for university employees from BPS-1 to BPS-21.

The university’s employees and staff have expressed gratitude to IIUI President and Acting Rector Prof. Dr Ahmed Saad Alahmed for his efforts in securing the release of the funds.

The complete grant of Saudi Support Fund covers recurring expenditures, infrastructural development, faculty development and quality enhancement.

The year 2026's grant is continuation of the graciousness and generosity of the Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia with which it continues treating the university, year upon year.
